About this competition
Conducted by the Bar Council of India, this is the oldest national moot court competition in the country, instituted to promote advocacy skills among Indian law students.
Problems traditionally focus on constitutional and public law questions of contemporary importance. Because it is run by the profession's own regulator, the competition carries a distinctive prestige, and its final rounds are frequently judged by sitting and retired judges of the higher judiciary.
