About this competition

The Monroe E. Price Media Law Moot Court Competition, run by the Bonavero Institute of Human Rights at the University of Oxford, is the leading global moot on freedom of expression and media regulation.

Teams argue before the fictional "Universal Court of Human Rights" on problems involving speech, privacy, platform regulation, and emerging technologies. Regional rounds — including a South Asia round in which Indian teams regularly excel — feed into the international finals held at Oxford each spring.
