About this competition

A commercial arbitration problem with a technology edge: an alleged defect in an electric-vehicle control system, raising whether a Section 9 interim application survives the constitution of the tribunal when Section 17 is available, challenges to an arbitrator who stays on after the tribunal rejects the challenge, preservation of software records, and recall losses against a limitation-of-liability clause. Prize pool Rs 53,000, with separate best-mooter awards for men and women. Everything happens across two days, 20-21 November.
